ACE D&H Consultants has successfully contributed to the midterm evaluation of UNDP’s Ethiopia Country Programme, focused on the Inclusive and Sustainable Growth portfolio. Under the leadership of UNDP Evaluation Manager Messay Tassew, the ACE D&H team delivered a detailed outcome evaluation, assessing the progress of 35 projects, including key REDD+ and renewable initiatives aimed at reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.

ACE D&H’s experts played a key role in the evaluation process, conducting virtual stakeholder interviews and applying the GEF/UNDP evaluation criteria with a strong emphasis on gender-responsive methodologies. This assessment has been instrumental in shaping future strategies for nature, climate, and environment programs in Ethiopia.
