Ace D&H Consultants Awarded Leadership Role in UK’s Biodiverse Landscapes Fund for West Congo Basin

Ace D&H Consultants has secured a long-term contract to lead the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Hub for the West Congo Basin, as part of the UK government-funded Biodiverse Landscapes Fund (BLF). This role underscores the firm’s commitment to environmental sustainability and global conservation efforts.

The BLF is dedicated to reversing biodiversity loss, creating economic opportunities through nature investment, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Ace D&H Consultants will collaborate closely with the independent evaluator, Indev, led by the e-Pact consortium (Itad and Oxford Policy Management), to support evaluations at both landscape and portfolio levels, ensuring the fund’s objectives are met effectively.

As the head of the West Congo Basin MEL Hub, Ace D&H Consultants will coordinate evaluations, ground them in regional contexts, and act as a liaison between the UK Programme Leadership Team and regional stakeholders. This involvement is critical in steering the BLF towards achieving its overarching goals of nature conservation, climate change mitigation, and community development within one of the world’s most vital biodiversity regions.
