ACE D&H Consultants Lead Midterm Evaluation of Cameroon’s Open Timber Portal

ACE D&H Consultants recently concluded a midterm evaluation of the Open Timber Portal—Independent Forest Monitoring Project in Cameroon, managed by Achille Djeagou from the World Resources Institute (WRI). This project focuses on strengthening Cameroon’s institutional frameworks for forest monitoring and boosting civil society’s involvement in forest law enforcement.

Led by ACE D&H’s team of evaluation specialists (Prof Aurelian Mbzibain, Rene Phil Oyono, Seraphin Ngoumbe and Dr Yaya Pouakone), the evaluation included in-depth consultations with local stakeholders, including governmental bodies, private sector partners, and civil society organizations. The aim was to assess the effectiveness of the project in enhancing transparency and accountability in forest management.

Le focus groupe organisé était constituer de 10 personnes dont 02 de CeDLA et 08 représentants les communautés de Ndtoua, Nkoolong et Ebimimbang dans les arrondissements de Bipindi et Niété région du SUD
